This Years Info:

1. Rebuys are $150 CDN or 120 USD (with $50 CDN going to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation – because they save the lives of children!) AND you can rebuy weeks 1 – 2 AND 3! *Note you can’t lose in week 1, then rebuy after week 2 or 3, you must rebuy the same week(s) you lose. You CAN rebuy two times if necessary.
2. Money/Payment now goes to REALSIMPLEFOOTBALLPOOL@GMAIL.COM Or PayPal to jsnoek@gmail.com, add $5 for fees. Still autopay, but you YOU NEED TO PUT YOUR TEAM NAME IN THE E-TRANSFER MESSAGE FIELD. If you were referred by someone, please put that in there too.
3. Having grown to over 220 entries last year, once again we’re offering the same “bring 5 new people get a free entry” deal. It’s starting to become serious money. If you were referred, please put the name of the person who referred you or send it by email to realsimplefootballpool@gmail.com.
4. If you FAIL to make a pick you will be auto-assigned your biggest home favourite available.
5. Pick deadline has been moved to 10am (kickoff) for Sunday games. Thursday/Saturday deadline will remain kickoff for those games. More time to flip flop picks!
6. You can have as many entries as you like. More entries is cheaper than rebuying!

RULES:

The Pool

Survivor – pick a correct WINNING team each week and you continue.  Fail to pick a winning team and you are out.  You may NOT duplicate a pick/team later in the season. Last person(s) remaining wins the total prize pool. *If all remaining person(s) in a week lose, the pool is over and moneys will be split between winners.

Registering/Rebuys

Entry fee of $100 CDN or $80 USD to join the pool.  All money can be sent to realsimplefootballpool@gmail.com. Or PayPal to jsnoek@gmail.com, add $5 for fees

After weeks 1, 2 AND 3 there will be an option to rebuy.  Rebuy fee will be $150 CDN or $120 USD.  Fifty dollars ($50 CDN) goes to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Rebuys must occur the week(s) you are eliminated. You may not skip a week. For example, if you lose in week 1, you may not wait until after week 2 to rebuy. You may rebuy both weeks if necessary.

*ALL MONIES MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE START OF WEEK 1 (REBUYS BEFORE THE START OF WEEK 2/3/4) OR YOUR TEAM WILL BE FORFEITED.

Any team that is selected will not be able to be selected again. E.g., If you lose in week 1 and re-buy, that team will not be available to be selected again.

You can have as many entries as you like. More entries will make more fun through the fall! And don’t forget 5 referrals gets you a free team.

Picks

All picks must be made on the league website before the game.
For Thursday night games, cutoff is game time.
For all other games, cutoff is Sunday at 10AM PST.
For special games (London etc.), picks must be in before game time.

 All picks/stats will be available for all to see once games have started (Thursday, London) or at 10AM PST on Sunday.

Once you make your pick a confirmation email will be sent to you.  Double check that the pick is correct.  Picks can not be changed once a game has started.

If you fail to make a pick, you will be auto-assigned the biggest favourite you still have available.

 Surviving

Should your team win – you survive to the next week.
Should your team not win (loss/tie) – you are out.

Winning/Payouts

When the last person(s) remain or are eliminated all remaining parties shall split the winnings. 
All “deals” between remaining participants must be agreed upon by all parties.

Payment will be made within 7 days of someone winning.
